- The Manager of Cargo Operations Planning & Coordination will lead a team of analysts, including operational and customs subject matter experts, to support our frontline teams by driving initiatives, creating/sharing best practices and policies and procedures in equipment, customs, training, compliance and performance metrics to help create a world class customer experience.

What You'll Do

- Provide strategic thought leadership in support of Cargo Operations by identifying areas of opportunities and drive towards execution.
- Responsible for directly and indirectly leading people and teams on operations and customs topics.
- Support key cross-functional initiatives providing subject matter expertise and being the voice of operations.
- Partner with shared services stakeholders to set vision, help support initiatives, improve coordination and execution across teams; this includes the Cargo Training and Cargo Policies and Procedures Teams.
- Coordinate with the Performance Planning and Analysis team on performance metrics and reporting.
- Own Cargo Cup process including calculation, coordination and support.
- Responsible for long-term vision, contract and day-to-day relationship with our ULD management team Jettainer. Continue to evolve ULD tracking, Demurrage and implement solutions to improve and simplify our current processes.
- Participate in industry conferences and working groups to help drive direction in our business environment.

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
- 5+ years professional experience with at least 3 years of strategy, operations or cargo experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Proven success collaborating across a wide variety of cross functional teams and initiatives.
- Experience in cargo operations.
- Experience in airport operations.
- Project management experience.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to question the status quo and pursue change when needed.
- Ability to translate between cargo operation and other parts of the business.
- Collaborative approach with proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Effective decision-making based on a combination of data-driven analysis and strategic consideration.
