The main function of the Creative Project Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate creative projects. This person supervises the activities and workstreams involved in the preparation and production of various creative projects. This role will oversee the communication between internal stakeholders, clients, and lead project milestones and deliverables.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate creative projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Management and coordination of internal stakeholders, creative agencies, and act as a liaison with clients and vendors.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze creative scope, technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, creative, design, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Skills
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and G-Suite of Apps (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
- Ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
- Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience managing large-scale creative/digital projects.
- PMI or PMP certification.

Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
