About The Position
As an HR Operations Specialist at Anchin, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our core HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, data management, compliance, and internal processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-savvy, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Streamline and manage core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and full employee life cycle administration.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Maintain and update employee records and data within HR systems, including UKG (HRIS), STAR (Financial), and other HR tools.
- Generate and maintain regular HR reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Support the rollout, communication, and compliance of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage and monitor the HR mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain audit-ready and legally compliant HR documentation and practices.
- Support both internal and external HR audits by compiling and submitting required documentation.
- Participate in HR-related projects such as system upgrades, process optimization, and organizational change initiatives.
- Organize, maintain, and secure employee personnel files and records in accordance with legal and policy requirements.
- Manage HR templates, documentation, and internal communications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within HR operations and recommend actionable solutions.
- Stay abreast of HR operational best practices and suggest relevant enhancements.
- Provide support to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) with generalist HR tasks as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role; experience in professional services or public accounting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, with hands-on experience in UKG or similar HRIS platform is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance and labor regulations.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $75,000 to $100,000 based on the individual’s experience level.
