Position Summary
We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled
HR | Payroll Coordinator to join our team in our
North Dallas office. The HR | Payroll Coordinator will support the HR functions of the company by maintaining employee files, processing payroll, various projects, and any other duties that may be assigned.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Timely and accurate processing of semi-monthly payroll and processing special payrolls as needed
- Work with EOR vendors to process and manage international payroll
- Collect, track, review and enter all payroll-related items including timesheets, changes to compensation and deductions, bonuses and commissions
- Ensure receipt and storage of proper approvals and backup documentation
- Process checklists for new hires, salary and status changes, and terminations
- Track remote I-9 and e-verify process and tracks visa renewals
- First point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and PTO system
- Research and resolve payroll issues that may arise
- Create specialized reports utilizing ADP Workforce Now
- Conduct appropriate audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs
- Reconcile and process monthly benefit and HR invoices
- Provide support for recruiting efforts by posting jobs in ATS, creating offer letters, and running background checks
- Suggest process improvements and opportunities for automation
- Special projects and assisting with other HR duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
- 3+ years’ relevant experience
- HRIS | HCM experience preferred (experience in ADP Workforce Now a plus)
- Previous payroll experience required (Fundamental Payroll Certification a plus)
- Strong analytical skills and basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
- Organized, detail-oriented, sensitive to deadlines, flexible with changing priorities
- Professional demeanor, friendly and approachable
- Team player with excellent customer service skills and a natural desire to assist others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer and MS Office Suite skills
