Job Title: Routing/Transportation Manager
Duration: 3+ Months (Possible extension)

Responsibilities:
- The Inbound Routing Manager will be initially responsible for overseeing and managing the inbound transportation and routing of supplies to our 2800 dialysis facilities.
- This assignment will include determining value, change management, resource requirements and suggested systems to manage inbound transportation.
Determining Current State:
- Performing a thorough analysis across ~60 suppliers to determine current costs associated with transportation of 1.2M Purchase orders annually from suppliers into our 2800 facilities.
- This analysis will include ship from and ship to zip codes along with piece count and total weight.
Value Proposition:
- Using the current state analysis data, perform an initial evaluation in the marketplace for potential savings opportunity. This will include providing data to outside carriers to respond with proposed or contracted rates.
- These current state and future state data sets will be summarized into an executive view to understand potential savings opportunity.
Change Management Evaluation:
- Segmenting costs associated with the current state into realistic change management segments.
- Percentage fee to cover all modes of transportation
- Private fleet deliveries
- Controllable 3rd Party carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Contract-restricted Incoterms that cannot be changed until a future date, with future date opportunity by supplier.
Resource Requirements:
- Produce a recommendation for both headcount and technology tools to activate all activities and operationalize the value proposition.
- Technology recommendation is not a full RFP process, but initial scoping of what technology is needed to scale this effort with minimal headcount post change management efforts.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in logistics, routing, or transportation management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management tools.
- Ability to work in an office and/or warehouse environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
