MOUSSY is seeking a performance-driven E-Commerce Operations Specialist to lead our digital development and drive the growth of the website. The E-commerce Operations Specialist will take a leading role in developing and executing our digital strategy including merchandising, marketing, and customer experience.
This role is based in New York with the option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
· Optimize site engagement, product discovery, conversion, and user experience through merchandising, storytelling, UI, and marketing
· Analyze sales, inventory levels, and KPI and convert insights into actions
· Support digital marketing activities including paid advertising, newsletters, and SEO
· Ensure 100% accuracy of product content, promotion execution, and adherence to brand and business objectives
· Collaborate with the retail team to optimize merchandising, marketing, and inventory levels and ensure brand consistency between channels
· Audit the site to identify opportunities for enhancement, optimization, and testing
· Evaluate and maintain effective category offerings, navigation structure, and sort orders, and ensure all category refinements (filters, search, etc.) are optimized and working correctly
· Act as a product and market expert on competition and industry trends
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and buying for the website
Qualifications
· 4+ years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, or digital marketing (preferably in women’s apparel or vertical retail)
· Strong analytical skills and ability to convert insights into actions
· Organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Strong Excel skills and ability to quickly learn internal systems
· Experience with Shopify and ERP systems preferred
· Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese a plus
