Junior Requirements Analyst to join our team in supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD(HA)). The ASD(HA) is the principal staff advisor to the Secretary of Defense for health and oversees the Military Health System (MHS). The MHS is comprised of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the medical readiness organizations of the Military Departments, and the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences.
The Junior Requirements Analyst is responsible for facilitating the requirements management process. As a subject matter expert, the junior analyst implements guidance and provides expertise to ensure that requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with strategic objectives and operational needs. The Junior Requirements Analyst collaborates with Senior stakeholders, program managers, and cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive functional, technical, and operational requirements. The Junior Requirements Analyst ensures all requirements adhere to applicable DoD acquisition policies, JCIDS standards, and best practices. They may deliver briefings and presentations to Senior leadership and stakeholders on the status, risks, and issues related to requirements development..
Your Day-to-day Work Will Include
- Facilitate the requirements management process, applying experience and expertise to ensure requirements are well-defined and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Senior stakeholders, program managers, and cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive functional, technical, and operational requirements.
- Provide inputs on best JCIDS practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Ensure all requirements adhere to applicable DoD acquisition policies, JCIDS standards, and best practices.
- May deliver clear and concise briefings and presentations to Senior leadership and stakeholders on the status, risks, and issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in requirements management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to program teams and stakeholders.
- Actively participate in requirements governance forums, such as Functional Capability Boards and the Joint Requirements Oversight Council.
- Monitor and analyze requirements-related data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Other duties as assigned.
At a Minimum You Should Have
- An active SECRET clearance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements management, with a strong background in DoD acquisition processes
- Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, standards, and best practices, including JCIDS and PPBE
- Proven track record of leading the requirements management process and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven recommendations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
You Will Be Highly Desirable If You Have
- Master's degree in a relevant field, PMP, CSEP, or requirements-relevant certification
- Experience working in a defense or government environment
- Knowledge of agile and other iterative development methodologies
- Familiarity with requirements management tools and software

Estimated Salary Range: $93,000-$128,000
The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
