Commercial Data Insights Manager – Top-Tier Global Investment Firm

A leading global asset manager is hiring a Commercial Data Insights Manager to lead a newly created team supporting Investor Relations and External Communications. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on turning data into actionable insights that influence marketing, client engagement, and product strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader to shape the future of a commercial insights function, present directly to senior stakeholders, and drive business-critical decisions using advanced analytics.

What You’ll Do:

Lead a small, high-performing insights team focused on delivering commercial recommendations across sales, marketing, and communications
Own the collection, analysis, and interpretation of CRM and engagement data to support client retention, growth strategies, and brand development
Act as a player-coach: contribute technically while leading—coding in Python, using BI tools, and applying statistical methods
Work closely with senior leadership to advise on data-driven strategy, while helping shape the structure and vision for this growing team
Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering and development teams to optimize access to insights—not raw data

What We’re Looking For:

6+ years’ experience in data science, analytics, or commercial insights, with at least some team leadership
Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for senior business stakeholders
Strong technical skills in Python, applied statistics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Background in asset management, financial services, or a consulting/tech firm with client-facing data work
Excellent academic credentials from a top university and a strong track record in reputable institutions
