Responsibilities- Utilize knowledge and experience in building scalable and reliable backend systems, services, and APIs (application programming interfaces) that deliver value to our customers
- Make impactful contributions and proactively identify gaps and future work for the team
- Deliver and own large features end-to-end, collaborate with our product team to deliver high impact for our customers, and proactively identify ways to monitor the quality, reliability, and security of our systems
- Abide by engineering best practices
Requirements- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Skills with the following required:
- Backend engineering;
- Java, Python, C++, C#, or Golang;
- Frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and JavaScript frameworks;
- Concurrent and parallel programming concepts;
- Using version control systems;
- PostgreSQL databases;
- UI toolkits and frameworks;
- Source code and version repository;
- Writing detailed technical specs and documentation; and
- Transforming requirements into design concepts and entity relationship diagrams (ERDs)
- Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies
