Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In this role, you will report directly to the Sr. Director of TA Innovation and Solutions (I&S) and be an integral leader within our I&S team. Your main responsibility is to drive operational priorities and ensure a strong, positive, high-performing team culture. You will support the Sr. Director by being their go-to person for advice and collaboration, ensuring smooth information flow and leadership team alignment. You'll step in to represent the Sr. Director when needed, sharing their vision and values with the team. Additionally, you'll plan and organize various meetings, oversee budget and resource allocation, and drive progress on team deliverables.
As a core partner to the Talent Acquisition leadership community, you'll build strong partnerships, manage strategic projects, and serve as the central point of contact for HR operations, helping to address critical issues and maximize the impact of our team. You will help develop and drive talent strategies that advance the operational effectiveness of the entire I&S team by partnering closely with key stakeholders within I&S, Talent Acquisition, GTO, and other cross-functional teams. This role is pivotal in driving operational rhythm, ensuring alignment on priorities, and overseeing strategic initiatives and resource allocation for our TA org.
Responsibilities:
- Trusted Advisor to Sr. Director of TA Innovations & Solutions:
- Day-to-Day Thought Partner: Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of I&S and their leadership team. Help the Sr. Director of I&S and their leadership team show up in the best possible way for the team and the company.
- Team Alignment: Ensure the I&S organization is aligned with TA and LinkedIn objectives; proactively identify and address potential obstacles. Ensure smooth information flow throughout all levels of the I&S team.
- Representation: Represent the Sr. Director of I&S in their absence, sharing their vision and values in meetings with the team.
- Content Planning: Oversee team content planning, including bi-weekly All Hands agenda and content, bi-weekly Leads agenda planning, and strategic planning of annual I&S Leadership Offsite.
- Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate functional meetings, including strategy meetings, staff meetings, all-hands, and offsite events.
- Central leader within TA Innovations & Solutions:
- Peer Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with I&S leadership team members to identify and address organizational challenges, working closely with them to ensure alignment on strategic goals, operational priorities, and team capacities and enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Operational Rhythm: Drive operational rhythm, keeping aware and aligned of operational timelines; lead quarterly OKR/goal setting and review cycles, and quarterly Ops review processes; monitor and drive progress and reporting on key I&S portfolio priorities.
- Efficiency and Effectiveness: Ensure the overall team operates efficiently and effectively; provide visibility into the interdependencies, health, and status of key programs within the organization.
- Budget & Resource Allocation: Oversee strategic budget and resource allocation in partnership with FP&A.
- Consultation and Inspiration: Consult and advise I&S team members, inspiring them to do their best work, helping to create a cohesive and high-performing team culture.
- Champion the LinkedIn culture & values: Support efforts to foster a culture of belonging to help the I&S team achieve their goals, grow their skills sets, and have fun.
- Core Partner to the Talent Acquisition leadership community:
- Functional Partnerships: Build deep partnerships with other functional TA Ops Managers to address TA’s priority and critical issues.
- Business Understanding: Stay close to the evolving needs of TA leaders and help them understand the focus and work of the I&S team to maximize its impact.
- Governance Planning: Manage central governance planning and execution for TA Problem Statements (TA Strategic Roadmap).
- Central POC for HR Operations: Serve as the central point of contact for the TA-HR Ops partnership, driving efficiency, managing escalations, and acting as a conduit between TA and HR Ops teams.
- Strategic Projects: Manage select and strategic projects across the organization.
- Talent Management: Partner with HR and internal leaders monitor and track I&S headcount, organizational structure, and hiring plans
- Ad Hoc Collaboration: Collaborate with TALT and central TA Comms on ad hoc business needs.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- 7+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition roles with core responsibilities of building relationships and leading complex strategic and operational initiatives
- 2+ years as a Talent Acquisition manager, with experience leading central projects within a global TA organization
Preferred qualifications:
- Solution-Oriented: Skill in simplifying complex concepts into elegant solutions.
- Data Savvy: You are not only proficient with data, you really enjoy it. At the very least, you can make a great pivot table and feel comfortable living in the weeds of operational tools and systems.
- Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to build cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization, even without direct reporting relationships.
- Senior Leader Collaboration: Experience collaborating with senior leaders to identify organizational needs.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Outstanding leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to collaborate and influence effectively across all organizational levels.
- Adaptability: Experience in agile and flexible work environments, capable of thriving in fast-paced change.
- Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple ongoing initiatives and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with high emotional intelligence and proficiency in conveying messages at all organizational levels, including data visualization.
- Continuous Improvement: A curious mindset with a focus on continuous process enhancement.
- Innovative Thinking: Strong inclination toward innovative thinking and solution-oriented approaches.
- Problem Solving: Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $112,000 to $182,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
