Job Description
As we expand our presence in US, we are looking to hire our senior leadership team to build the business and team here
Key Responsibilities
● Developing Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies and plans that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
● Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and ensuring the sales team meets or exceeds sales targets.
● Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting and reporting. Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and make data-driven decisions
● Sales Closure Leadership: Drive the closing phase of the sales cycle by guiding the team through negotiations, resolving any last-minute issues, and ensuring contracts are signed to secure new business.
● Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive business growth and open new sales channels.
● Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
● Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance sales performance.
● Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to sales performance, such as market shifts or competitive threats.
Qualifications
● 8-10 years of sales success with a significant focus on business development in the chemicals sector
● A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is highly desirable
● A proven track record of successful client engagement and acquisition with customers in the US and Canada
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with and influence top-level executives.
● Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to build and manage effective sales teams.
● Comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the global chemical manufacturing and distribution space
● Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics 365) and MS Office Suite.
