Our client is a full service real estate investment and development company focused on affordable housing. They are one of the largest owners in the US with over 180 communities nationwide. They are looking for an Analyst to help support their data management and asset management functions.
Job Scope:
The Analyst position is a hybrid role of IT systems support and real estate analysis. The Analyst provides ongoing support for efficient business, financial, and operational systems for the Asset Management, Construction, Acquisitions, and Human Resource Department. This includes gathering and analyzing financial statement data for quality assurance and ongoing reporting. This position is also responsible for researching business challenges, issues and determine probable causes and possible solutions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and financial skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
JOB DUTIES: Job duties/responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting packages to assist in monitoring performance in all critical areas: revenues, expenses, leasing, occupancy, etc.
- Work on specific projects for profit improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement.
- Assist with ad-hoc/special projects as needed.
- Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Prepare procedure documentation and user guides.
- Responsible for day-to-day communications with Supervisor and ensuring all reporting and tasks are completed on time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years experience in data governance, business intelligence reporting, and/or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree - Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate Concentration is a plus.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
