Description:THE WORKThe Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems Supplier Quality Engineering Team is seeking a Procurement Engineer, Staff who will have the opportunity to join a team of highly competent professionals involved in ensuring procured hardware/software & service products meet design, manufacturing & Counterfeit Protection Plan requirements, externally/internally across multiple lines of business. The Procurement Engineer is the primary QA POC interface with suppliers and cross functional counterparts on performing TLS or RMS Cross Plant programs.

Responsibilities are highlighted below, but not limited to:
-SQE Team Lead for a portion of programs under the LMS/RMS Cross Plant Programs market segment
-Primary QA POC interface with suppliers performing on TLS or RMS Cross Plant programs
-SQE BOE Author
-Ability to comprehend Designs/Drawings, Technologies, Processes, Complexity Levels and Key Characteristics of procured product in order to resolve issues
-Collaborate with Operations & Engineering counterparts to solve technical challenges while meeting contractual requirements
-Coordinate with multiple RMS lines of business/POCs on issues/RCCAs to understand impacts and drive actions for nonconforming procured product
-Identify recommended continual improvement initiatives to strengthen quality systems, processes and performance for at-risk Suppliers
-Monitor quality control activities and systems at supplier facilities through surveillance, audits, incremental inspects, test, technical reviews and maintain feedback loops
-PR/PO Management in P2P to include part coding of Quality data & other supplier quality requirement flowdowns as well as ensuring suppliers meet any QA certification requirements
-QA Authority for quality section within Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW)
-Engage as QA Authority for Assessing Supplier Risk (RBAT, COMBAT)
-Review & Approve Supplier FAIs
-Participate in Supplier Drawing Reviews
-Participate in major Supplier milestone events (TRR, PRR, etc.)
-Witness / Monitor Supplier Qualification, Functional, Acceptance Tests and review Results
-Implement monitoring and control of all Supplier Quality Performance metrics on assigned program(s by conducting rhythmic supplier performance analysis and monitor trends
-Participate in applicable forums to facilitate disposition of supplier non-conformances and support of supplier failure investigations through RCCA and issue SCARs as required
-Engage and brief various level of Leadership (externally/internally) & other key stakeholders on various aspects of supplier quality performance on assigned program(s)
-Maintain Supplier Audit Program to ensure Compliance with Contractual, Regulatory and Quality Management System Requirements
-Perform preventative engagement surveillances & auditing of sites, both supplier & testing houses, participate in GIDEP evaluations, Non-OEM procured hardware compliance and provide expertise for CCA manufacturing, process and product evaluations and assessments and validate key process capabilities
Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
Desired Skills:- Experience developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Prior QA/SQE or Project Engineering experience preferred
- Prior Team Lead experience
- Lean Six Sigma Cert.
- Proven successful experience in fast-paced environments
- Outstanding communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
