Nycom is looking for a talented Revit Modeler I to join our team working remotely from home or in one of our offices in Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina or Virginia.
This is an ideal entry-level position for a recent graduate of a Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology program. If you are motivated to succeed, detail oriented, and looking for a challenging career, then we want to talk to you.
Description
The Revit Modeler is responsible for modeling and drafting construction submittals for a variety of product lines including Millwork/Casework, Specialties equipment and Lab equipment. They will work with a variety of internal teams to create detailed and accurate shop drawings from architectural drawings.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes.
- Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to our company standards.
- Managing information, maintaining notes, documentation and making sure your questions are answered when needed utilizing our propriety software.
- Manage schedules and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Independently solve problems in close coordination with members of the project team.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Revit as a drawing management tool
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office programs
- Experience in Millwork/Casework/Specialties is a plus.
- Degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or Architectural Technology or related field is a plus.
Salary Description
$50,000 to $55,000 annual
