POSITION SUMMARY
Hublot of America is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of logistics operations across North America and the Caribbean. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory movements, and compliance with customs and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) procedures. The Logistics Manager supervises a team of two Logistics Coordinators and works closely with internal departments, third-party freight providers, and Hublot’s Swiss Headquarters to support seamless product flow and service excellence. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring timely delivery to boutiques, wholesale partners, and clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Logistics Operations
- Oversee all daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate product movement.
- Coordinate with third-party freight providers and customs brokers to resolve delivery or clearance issues.
- Support logistics-related needs of boutiques, retailers, travel retail, and the marketing department. Handle claims with UPS, FedEx, or other freight providers for lost or damaged shipments.
- Maintain the Hublot of America stock in impeccable state by conducting the inventory on the monthly basis, addressing and resolving any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a well-organized warehouse and ensure compliance with internal procedures for handling stock.
- Assist with the coordination of product allocations and shipments based on retail and wholesale demand.
- Work in close coordination with the Director and FTZ Administrators to support Free Trade Zone compliance.
- Ensure documentation for imports and exports is complete, accurate, and properly stored.
- Prepare regular reports on shipping activity, inventory status, and backorders as directed.
- Communicate product movement, shipping updates, and issues to the Director and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate inventories for all POSM material stored at Triton
- Support the invoicing process for marketing materials, packaging, and other operational items shipped to retailers.
Team Supervision & Communication
- Supervise two Logistics Coordinators, overseeing daily responsibilities and workflow prioritization.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Client Service, Sales Admin, Retail, Marketing) to align logistics activity with business needs.
- Monitor employee productivity and performance and provide constructive feedback as necessary
Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- High customer focus and strong interpersonal skills, to be able to communicate with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office – Word and Excel
