Job Overview:
The
Inventory & Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring seamless product movement between the main office and warehouse. This role plays a key part in maintaining stock integrity, optimizing inventory flow, and coordinating with teams to resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Oversee all inventory movement across locations, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and spot checks to maintain stock integrity.
- Monitor stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to minimize loss.
- Manage and process product transfers from the main office to the warehouse, ensuring accurate tagging (PRV) and proper documentation.
- Assist with inventory allocation adjustments to support sales and e-commerce demand.
Quality Control
- Track, inspect, and manage returned and damaged goods, coordinating resolutions with warehouse and sales teams.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet brand standards before shipping.
- Monitor warehouse handling to confirm proper packing, labeling, and tracking of inventory.
- Identify recurring quality issues and work with production and logistics teams to improve product handling.
Warehouse & Logistics Support
- Liaise with warehouse, production, and sales teams to coordinate shipments and receiving.
- Monitor warehouse reports and identify issues affecting order fulfillment.
- Provide prioritization and direction to the warehouse team on product handling.
- Work closely with the E-commerce and Sales teams to manage shortages and reorders.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and inventory management software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams.
