Position Overview
As an Inbound Supply Chain Project Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in driving cost-saving initiatives and optimizing inbound logistics performance. This highly collaborative position puts you at the center of Polaris' supply chain—working across sourcing, planning, logistics, plant operations, and third-party providers. Your analytical insights and project leadership will directly impact operational efficiency and logistics cost improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Lead inbound supply chain projects focused on cost savings, efficiency improvements, and optimization of logistics processes.
- Analyze inbound freight costs and expedite trends; develop reporting to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve truck utilization and reduce total landed cost through packaging improvements, optimized routing, and pickup scheduling.
- Collaborate across sourcing, planning, and operations teams to develop and communicate total cost of ownership as part of business case development.
- Contribute to plan vs. actual analysis on route designs and support strategic routing decisions with actionable insights.
- Support cost control operations by partnering with Finance and Logistics providers to review aging, billing accuracy and cost reporting

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain management; logistics experience preferred.
- Proven project management experience with a track record of delivering process improvements.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP); strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and executing cost-saving opportunities or operational changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with 3PLs and logistics service providers preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization or modeling tools like Tableau or Alteryx is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid office environment (3 days in office, 2 days of flex)
The pay range for Minnesota is $70,000 to $86,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
