The Purpose of the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the
successful execution of Honeywell Building Automation Projects. You will be
responsible for preparing project documentation and drawings, programming
controllers, supervising cabling and equipment installation, overseeing test
and commissioning activities, and preparing Human-Machine Interface (HMI)
graphics. Your expertise in Honeywell systems, including fire alarms, CCTV,
card access, Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA), and Building Management
Systems (BMS) will be essential in delivering high-quality projects that meet
our clients' needs. This position requires no restrictions on working at
customer job sites both domestically and abroad. Proficiency in English, both
written and spoken, is required to facilitate effective communication across
teams and with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project
Documentation: Prepare
and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project
plans, scope of work, specifications, and drawings.
Ensure
that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on
time. - Drawings
and Design: Develop
and review system design drawings and schematics.
Collaborate
with other engineering teams to ensure compliance with the project
requirements. - Controller
Programming: Program
various Honeywell controllers related to fire alarm systems, security,
access controls, PAVA, and BMS. Perform
debugging and troubleshooting to ensure system performance.
- Preparation
of HMI Graphics: Design
and create user-friendly HMI graphics that effectively represent system
status and controls. Collaborate
with stakeholders to ensure that graphics meet project specifications and
enhance user interaction.
- Supervision
of Installation: Supervise
and coordinate the installation of cabling and equipment for automation
systems.
Ensure
that installations adhere to industry standards and Honeywell protocols. - Testing
and Commissioning: Lead
test and commissioning activities for all automation system components.
Document
test results and ensure that systems meet performance specifications
before handing over to the client. - System
Integration: Oversee
and facilitate the integration of various Honeywell systems, ensuring
seamless operation across platforms. Collaborate
with third-party vendors to ensure compatibility and compliance of
integrated systems.
- Client
Interaction: Maintain
effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle in
a professional manner. Address
client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance
and Standards: Ensure
compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory
requirements.
Stay
updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve
project outcomes. - Travel
Flexibility: Willingness
and ability to travel to customer job sites, both domestically and
internationally, as required by project demands.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's
degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
- Minimum
of 3 years of experience in project engineering within ELV systems.
- Strong
knowledge and hands-on experience with Honeywell systems, including fire
alarms, CCTV, card access, PAVA, and BMS.
- Proficiency
in controller programming and system integration.
- Excellent
command of the English language, both written and verbal, enabling
effective communication with team members and clients.
- Excellent
organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability
to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
