Director of Manufacturing to oversee and optimize its manufacturing operations. This key leadership position is responsible for driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across multiple departments.
About The Role
The
Director of Manufacturing will lead all aspects of production, including Quality Control, Inventory, Maintenance, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and CNC Machining. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will be responsible for streamlining operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with BRECOflex’s growth objectives.
- Operational Excellence - Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and process optimization to drive efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Team Leadership - Mentor and develop department managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Compliance & Safety - Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and maintain a safe, high-performing work environment.
- Technology & Innovation - Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing technologies to maintain industry leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with 5+ years in a senior role.
- Strong expertise in production planning, CNC machining, and quality control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
- Ability to relate to employees at all levels, from shop floor technicians to executive leadership.
- Strong technical skill set to understand and improve manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on leadership approach with experience mentoring and developing future leaders.
- Demonstrated success in driving projects from concept to completion while fostering team collaboration.
