Role Overview
The
Inventory Planner is responsible for
end-to-end sales and inventory planning, with a focus on accurate replenishment, optimized allocations, and proactive communication across teams and vendors. This is a cross-functional, high-impact role ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily and weekly replenishment orders for warehouse and stores
- Optimize allocations by identifying sales trends and store-level opportunities
- Monitor and improve sell-through, margin, and inventory turns
- Lead communication with vendors on delivery timing and order management
- Oversee floor set planning, store-specific inventory decisions, and safety stock levels
- Own key system settings: display minimums, allocation profiles, etc.
- Drive process improvements and support planning tool upgrades
- Partner with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Inventory Control to align on forecasts and strategies
What You’ll Bring
- 1–5 years experience in retail planning, allocation, or inventory management
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfort navigating and learning new systems and software platforms
- Highly proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3–5 years)

Compensation
The expected starting pay range for this position is $55,000-80,000 per year. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
