This position involves the investigation and resolution of discrepancies related to goods in transit, supporting a team focused on minimizing inventory discrepancies and maximizing recovery. The role demands interaction with various departments and external partners, including distribution, delivery, customer support, and third-party logistics providers. Strong analytical skills are paramount, as the individual will utilize diverse data sources to assess and resolve delivery anomalies. The ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and communicate findings is critical for reducing losses and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret documentation to validate responses related to shipment discrepancies. Employ data analysis tools to evaluate shipment loss patterns.
- Process customer credits or adjustments based on research outcomes.
- Complete claim investigations within established timelines for both incoming and outgoing shipments, and respond to inquiries from external and internal stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with designated carrier and supplier contacts, as well as internal management.
- Monitor carrier delivery verification compliance, providing support to carrier contacts and escalating recurring issues to management.
- Prepare and submit claims with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct delivery confirmation audits.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in claims processing, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
