As a Traveling Veterinary Clinic Setup Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our clinics are efficiently and effectively set up in different locations across the country.
As a Traveling Veterinary
Clinic Setup Specialist at UrgentVet, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects of setting up and maintaining our veterinary clinics at various locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure that each clinic is well-organized, fully equipped, and prepared to provide exceptional veterinary care to pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Readiness: Responsible for efficient and effective set up services within required timelines according to company's SOP.
- Logistics Planning: Work closely with UrgentVet's purchasing coordinator to determine site readiness for the delivery of inventory, medical equipment and supplies.
- Receive Deliveries: Accept delivery from logistics partner and ensure that all opening order items are received. Notate any items that are missing and communicate with purchasing coordinator to ensure re-delivery of missing items is scheduled.
- Equipment Preparation: Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are in good working condition and ready for operation.
- On-Site Setup: Oversee the assembly and arrangement of clinic units, including examination rooms, waiting areas, treatment area, break rooms and medical equipment, including furniture assembly, appliance installation (setting in place), and hanging artwork.
- Utilities and Services Confirmation: Ensuring that all power and data outlets are installed in the correct locations and working. Ensuring that the security system has been installed and functioning including alarm, cameras and access control.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all setups adhere to safety and health regulations, with a focus on both staff and patient safety.
- Troubleshooting: Address any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the set-up process.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of clinic set-up activities, expenses, and inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Construction Project Managers, Expansion Managers, IT Personnel, Purchasing Coordinator, and 3rd part vendor to optimize clinic operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
- Previous experience in event planning, logistics, or clinic setup.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary clinic operations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations and work flexible hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to travel by airplane to different location
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lb
