Job Summary
The Logistics Manager will play a key role in the development and implementation of a data centric decision-making supply chain team. This energetic, highly analytical, and passionate professional will not only support the Logistics and Customer Service Team in KPI management for all warehousing, transportation, and Customer Service, but also play a key role in supporting Sales, Finance, Marketing, Co-Packers, 3PL’s, and all contract negotiations and network reviews. This fast paced highly visible role will have the flexibility to think outside the box and use NetSuite to drive data analysis, visibility and transparency to the organization while leading and optimizing the logistics and warehouse operations between the company’s suppliers for raw finished goods, contract manufacturing, third-party logistics partner(s), and Reed’s customers. This role will have one direct report and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and the management and the professional development of the team. This is a fast-paced role that requires a customer service-oriented individual who can engage key stake holders in an efficient and well-organized manner. This systems-savvy professional will report directly into the Sr. Director, Logistics and Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive the KPI development and implementation with Transportation, Warehousing and Customer Service to ensure that Reed’s is meeting and exceeding their customer expectations.
- Drive the analytics and optimization of the shipping process for domestic and international customers. This includes all transfer orders of raw materials, packaging, and ingredients.
- Optimize and streamline logistics processes by leveraging EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless data exchange across the supply chain
- Act as the Logistics “key user” for NetSuite and other logistics optimization systems.
- Manage and support all transportation and warehouse tenders.
- Support and optimize inventory at 3PL operations
- Manage the development and implementation of the cost to serve model.
- Manage and recommend shipping methods, routing of carriers to meet necessary customer delivery schedule, and costs
- Optimize the storage and delivery of packaging and Ingredients from warehouse partners to contract manufacturing provider(s)
- Provide support during financial audits of inventory and 3PL
- Support the Logistics team with the annual business plan process.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and customer service.
- Prior experience working with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
- Prior experience working with co-packers and contract manufacturers preferred.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent judgement and escalate issues as needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring proper follow through
