We’re searching for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator who thrives in a collaborative environment and loves juggling multiple projects. This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, creative, and ready to make an impact.
What You’ll Do:
As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to support for our sales team and will work closely with our marketing agency and freelancers, helping us connect with educators, schools, and districts across the country. Your work will help drive awareness, foster meaningful connections, and support our mission to help every student succeed.
Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Sales Support: Collaborate closely with our sales team to develop marketing materials, presentations, and resources that help them shine.
- Event & Conference Management: Plan, organize, and execute events, conferences, and trade shows—making sure every detail supports an unforgettable experience.
- Web Updates: Assist with website content updates to ensure our messaging is clear, accurate, and aligned with our brand.
- Social Media Management: Create and schedule engaging content across our social media platforms to connect with our community and share our mission.
- Email Campaigns: Support the development and execution of email campaigns that inspire, inform, and engage our audience.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track campaign performance and provide reports to help refine and improve future marketing efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years of marketing experience, either in an agency or client-side. Bonus points for education industry experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you thrive on keeping projects moving and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with marketing tools like HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, and similar platforms.
- Experience working with marketing agencies and freelancers.
- Social media savvy with an eye for engaging content that advances University Instructor’s thought leadership.
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for making a difference.
- Though this is a remote position, we prefer someone located in the Richmond, Virginia, area to do periodic in-person meetings.
- This job may have overnight travel to events/conferences about once a quarter.
