The
Senior Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage a mid-sized team (100+ FTEs) of seasoned professionals across operations, parts/service, supply chain, inventory/warehouse management, and continuous improvement. You will have full P&L responsibility and a significant role in strategic planning, execution, and operational excellence to take the business to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management:
- Oversee and mentor a diverse team of 100+ professionals
- Foster an environment that supports innovation, continuous improvement, and ethical leadership
- Financial & Strategic Oversight:
- Manage full P&L responsibilities with experience ideally handling at least a $100 million annual revenue P&L
- Develop, implement, and refine strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational growth and profitability
- Ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial management practices are in place
- Operational Excellence:
- Lead initiatives in operations, parts/service, supply chain, and inventory/warehouse management
- Implement lean methodologies, continuous improvement practices, and process reengineering projects
- Utilize technology and data-driven insights (e.g., KPIs and dashboards) to optimize performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational strategies with overall business goals
- Drive capital improvements, expansions, and the exploration of additional business verticals
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Advanced Degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred
Experience
- Operational Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within a multi-site, multi-vertical manufacturing or OEM environment
- P&L Management: Proven experience managing a P&L of at least $100 million in annual revenue. Candidates with slightly smaller P&Ls (e.g., $50-100 million) may be considered if they demonstrate strong operational scalability and financial acumen
- Industry Expertise: Prior experience in the agriculture, construction, or related OEM sectors is highly desirable

- Operations & Supply Chain: Demonstrated success in overseeing operations, parts/service, supply chain, and inventory/warehouse management
- Continuous Improvement: Experience implementing lean methodologies and process reengineering projects
