Mixer Position
This role will safely, efficiently, and consistently produce silicone batches to meet foamline demand. Understand and practice superior attention to details in order to ensure quality
Shift(s) Available:
Shift 2 - Monday - Friday, 1:30pm - 10pm
Responsibilities
- Weigh and blend silicone batches safely and efficiently with meticulous consistently to meet foamline demand
- Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality
- Capable of demonstrating a high level of trust in workmanship, accuracy, and dependability
- Adaptable to stressful and unpredictable plant situations while maintaining the ability to function competently and communicate efficiently with other plant and technical personnel
- Responsible for housekeeping in and around the mix room and storage areas and must sustain 6S
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- 2+ years of experience in a bath mixing manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Competency in inventory tracking, vigilant with the workings in the area and capable of reporting out discrepancies
- Understands how to interpret chemical hazards has handled raw materials and understanding safety procedures associated with handling raw materials
- Highly detailed orientated, meticulous approach to quality of work.
- Excellent math skills and an ability to think analytically.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carol Stream, IL 60188: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

- Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
