POSITION SUMMARY:
Report to Production Manager/Shift Supervisor
Slit various size press rolls down to customer specifications per job ticket.
Essential Functions:
Follow production jobs as staged in equipment bins located in production office.
· Locate / verify product to job ticket then move WIP roll(s) to designated slitter.
· Read job ticket for job specific requirements. Must have the ability to read a ruler.
· Set up blades/knives to required specification as indicated on job ticket.
· Output core tags as needed. Must be able to lift 50 pound rolls.
· Verify all elements correct. MUST speak, read and write English.
· Seek supervisor for final approval.
· Slit material as required.
· Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties to procedure, including necessary documentation of completion.
· Comply and understand the Food Safety Procedures and Policies implemented in their job area.
· Comply with all plant, department and safety rules and regulations.
Will train the right candidate. High School Diploma preferred.
· Perform other duties as required to achieve the overall goals and objectives of the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
