CLICS, LLC has an opening for a Warehouse Associate in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can arrive to work on time and provide excellent service for our customers and internal team members. The position is on-site and will report directly to the Logistics Coordinator.
Responsibilities Include:
- Receiving shipments as they come in on pallets and via small truck carrier (FedEx/UPS).
- Picking, packing, and shipping orders out with the use of a computer system, including constructing boxes and packing contents, printing orders and labels.
- Properly handling Hazardous Materials (2.2 Non-Flammable Aerosol, e.g. pressurized canister, spray paint, hairspray)
- Kitting items for various business requirements, including service and repair.
- Tracking inventory and performing monthly inventory counts.
- Regularly monitoring email and Slack for orders and requests for shipments.
- Accepting and tracking inventory products for our exchange program.
- Maintaining the warehouse area and keeping material organized.
- Assembling various storage and equipment items for warehouse and ongoing operations use.
- Operating a pallet jack for moving pallets
- Providing consistent and excellent customer service.
- Taking initiative with little oversight on projects and tasks.
- Cleaning, light repair, and basic testing of returned equipment.
- This is a full-time position and you must be willing to work flexible hours
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Competent with various computer software programs (Word, Excel, Email)
- Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally; both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively problem solve.
- Ability to acquire new skills and assist with other company projects during down time.
- Strong customer service communication and attitude
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Education, Experience:
- High school diploma or higher
- Basic proficiency with, MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Preferences:
- Hazmat Certified through DOT course.
