Job Summary
The Warehouse Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, focusing primarily on inventory management and related processes. This position requires hands-on experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and cycle counting within a traditional warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will have a stable job history, expertise in SAP systems, and a strong commitment to improving inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inventory management tasks, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely updates.
- Execute shipping and receiving activities, including inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming and outgoing goods.
- Utilize SAP systems to manage inventory, process transactions, and track shipments.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively within a traditional warehouse environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory levels and streamline operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a focus on inventory management.
- Proven experience in shipping/receiving and cycle counting.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a true warehouse environment.
