UX Designer

Position Description

You’re a UX expert and a natural leader. You’re just as comfortable debating technical decisions with engineers as you are creating pixels and UX flows. You have a strong yet respectful presence in product and engineering discussions and speak up when something needs to be said. You’re a team player who works across boundaries to get things done.

Your Role: UX Designer

Translate user stories and user journeys into high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
Design and prototype user interfaces with a focus on high quality and scalability
Implement design systems in Figma
Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, impactful, cross-functional team
Work directly with clients to review UX prototypes
Conduct user interviews

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Required Skills Summary

A willingness to accept failure and feedback, learn and try again.
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through developer hand-off
Ability to communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software features and technical designs.
You are interested in modern UX practices
You have a good understanding of software best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
