Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user specifications and create intuitive user flows and wireframes
- Design visually appealing interfaces, balancing aesthetics with usability and accessibility principles
- Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to gather insights and ensure user-centric design decisions
- Create user personas, storyboards, and user journey maps to define the end-to-end user experience
- Develop interactive prototypes to showcase design concepts and facilitate user testing and feedback
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure design implementation aligns with the intended user experience
- Continuously iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a software or technology company
- Proficiency with design and wireframing tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Solid understanding of web and mobile design standards and trends
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in Risk, Underwriting and/or Payments Industry is preferred
