Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter, Designer or Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in 2D CAD modeling and drafting for industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Produce complex drawings that meet client specifications in 2D CAD drafting.
- Prepare and interpret scale drawings, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids.
- Gather information and produce drawings for specific projects, review drawings for accuracy, revise and update drawings for customer approval, and prepare drawings for release to fabrication.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Strong CAD modeling skills.
- Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
- Advance Steel skills are highly desirable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in equipment design and drafting.
- Ability to produce complex drawings that meet client specification.
- Experience with process calculations.
- Experience with large equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $52.00/hr.
