Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting the supply chain team in receiving incoming materials and supplies into the manufacturing plant and maintaining Kan Ban and other supplier managed inventory programs. They will perform a variety of receiving, storekeeping, and distribution functions. This is a full-time position that reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for conformity to quality, quantity, and specifications
· Receiving: Receive purchases into ERP System
· Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels (cycle counts) to prevent shortages and overstock situations
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory transactions
· Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with delivery schedules
· Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any delays or issues in the supply chain process
· Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on supply chain performance and metrics
· Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other departments to streamline operations
· Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations
· Communication: Interact with the Finance team to ensure the invoice payment process is supported
