About The Role
Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a
Transportation Coordinator to support our transportation operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of daily administrative and reconciliation functions. In this essential role, you will be responsible for auditing driver paperwork, maintaining compliance, and supporting the coordination of freight schedules. Your keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment will be critical to the success of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit & Reconcile Driver Paperwork – Conduct daily audits to verify the accuracy of driver documentation against transportation software (TMW) records for accounting purposes.
- Discrepancy Investigation – Identify and resolve inconsistencies in driver paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Document Preparation & Organization – Manage freight bills, customer trip sheets, driver payroll sheets, fuel slips, shipping documentation, and DOT-required records.
- Compliance & Reporting – Maintain accurate records for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, DOT, OSHA, and C-TPAT regulations.
- Freight & Equipment Coordination – Track and document driver assignments, equipment status, and customer freight pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Data Entry & Database Management – Ensure timely and accurate entry of transportation and customer-related data into TMW and other software systems.
- Carrier & Customer Communication – Assist the account team in coordinating with carriers and updating customers on pick-up and delivery information.
- Safety & Incident Reporting – Monitor and report all accidents, injuries, and safety concerns to site leadership.
- Performance Metrics & Process Improvement – Track and achieve KPI and productivity goals as established by the Operations team.
- Adherence to Industry Standards – Follow ISO-9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHSAS 45001 quality certification processes.
- Additional Duties – Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support transportation operations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in data entry, transportation, logistics, or supply chain environment.
- Previous experience with TMW software preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry systems.
- Organizational & Communication Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
