Duties And Responsibilities
Director of Operations and Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, purchasing and supply chain functions within the organization. Here are the key duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with this role:
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Translates business strategies into operational plans, considering business priorities.
- Responsible for managing the annual planning process (AOP) and budgets for operations and supply chain.
- Responsible for the P&L of manufacturing and supply chain
- Responsible for leading the companies SIOP process.
- Leads the companies Continuous Improvement program.
- Manages all inbound and outbound product logistics.
- Leads supplier selection & negotiation activities.
- Responsible for overseeing the company’s quality program and compliance to industry standards.
- Recommends CapEx needs.
- Oversees the company’s maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
- Motivating the team to achieve objectives and targets.
- Organizing training programs to enhance job skills and knowledge.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with various levels in the organization.
Qualifications
- Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance degree required.
- MBA preferred.
- Strong, demonstrated, hands on working knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
- Strong understating of ERP/MRP systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
