DIRECTOR OF FUTSAL
Position Reports to: Sporting
DirectorOperational Responsibilities
Futsal Program Development
Design and implement a progressive, age-appropriate futsal curriculum aligned with Beach FC’s soccer development philosophy.Develop a clear pathway for players interested in a futsal-only track.Continuously evaluate and adapt the curriculum based on best practices and industry trends.
Coaching and Training
Conduct futsal training sessions focusing on technical skills, tactical understanding, and game intelligence.Provide mentorship and professional development for futsal coaches.Organize workshops and clinics for coaches, parents, and players.
Player Development and Evaluation
Monitor player progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with Beach FC directors to identify and support talented players.
Futsal Club Administration
Oversee player registrations, scheduling, and communication.Manage the futsal program budget.
Futsal Events and Competitions
Promote participation in internal and external futsal events.Assist in organizing and executing the annual Futsal 5s Winter League.
Community Engagement
Serve as a brand ambassador, fostering relationships with local schools and organizations.Lead annual futsal summer camps and programs.Strategic Responsibilities
Research areas for VB Futsal Program growth.Evaluate and propose solutions for futsal program expansion.Implement community engagement initiatives and feedback surveys.Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in futsal coaching or program management.Relevant coaching certifications (USSF, USYF, or equivalent).Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Passion for youth player development.Spanish proficiency is a plus.Familiarity with the regional futsal landscape is a plus.
