The Distribution Analyst (DA) will support the West Region's VP of Distribution and Distributor Partner Managers (DPMs) by providing strategic analysis, generating standard reports, and offering communication assistance to optimize distribution efforts.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS BUSINESS PLANNING
Actively participate in the planning cycle, including roll-ups, plan-to-actual gap analyses, and progress reporting. Validate the accuracy of Distributor Partner (DP) performance and live annual business plans. Provide weekly support for regional forecasting. Conduct distribution cost budget analysis.
STANDARD REPORTS AND PROCESSES
Monitor invoicing accuracy by reviewing internal sales data. Drive continuous improvement in standardized reporting (e.g., "Chain Performance Tracker"). Measure and report on DP management projects and incentive programs. Generate canned reports as needed by the region, DP management projects, and team. Deliver execution reports for RBNA. Prepare VP Distribution reporting, highlighting key issues and actions required. Track and report on the completion of National Account surveys at the regional level.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT
Collaborate with Headquarters and National Accounts teams.
COMMUNICATION
Engage with Distributor Partners' Finance departments to manage invoicing. Provide weekly updates for the VP Distribution and assist with preparation for monthly sales meetings. Communicate field updates for all DP management projects. Partner with Distribution Analysts on national projects and the standardization of processes.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 2+ years of experience in an Analyst role within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to translate analytics into actionable insights.
- Sales-oriented with an understanding of sales drivers and how data connects to sales execution.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of core distribution roles and organizational structures.
- Familiarity with the retail landscape, including local, regional, and national accounts.
- Comfortable in an office-based role (approximately 90% of the time).
- Ability to work collaboratively with RBNA, regional teams, and retailers.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.

The base salary range for this position is $67,200 - $100,800 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
