Purpose
As Assistant Manager, Planning Operations you will support in pre-season and in-season inventory and pricing management within the US and Canada markets for the Brand's owned E-commerce channel (eCom). You will work with various business partners to help analyze, review and recommend actions to maximize sales, inventory turn, and gross margin.
Key Responsibilities
- Support team members in acquiring, storing, analyzing, and presenting data required to drive the business.
- Support in the planning of onsite and offsite promotions and major commercial moments.
- Investigate operational needs and problems and opportunities, contribute to the recommendation of improvements, devise and incorporate new tools and processes into the ways of doing business.
- Support in the daily management and administration of databases use to optimize sales, margin, and inventory turns.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of MS office applications, specifically Excel including creating spreadsheets, complex formulas, pivot tables.
- Experience creating reports, sharing and distributing data, as well as experience in exploratory data analysis.
- Understanding of retail math; sales forecasting and gross margin profitability planning.
- Experience interpreting financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations.
- Broad and deep theoretical understanding of channel operations.
- Understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends, preferably within sports apparel and footwear market.
- You have at least 2 years professional experience, ideally with a focus on data management as well as experience in online retailing or sporting goods industry.
- You have excellent professional communication skills (English, written and oral).

- eCom cross functional partners, including but not limited to: Buying, Data Analytics, Operations, Market Finance, Commercial Programs, Performance Marketing, DVM, Content Creation, Membership.
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience required; Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of work experience, preferably with experience in Buying, Planning, Allocation and/or analytics.
