The Opportunity
As the District Director of Operations for the Eastern Massachusetts region, you'll report to the VP of Operations and play a key leadership role in shaping the district's success. Partnering in a dyad structure with the District Medical Director, you'll lead your team in driving operational excellence and achieving the vision of creating a more effective and sustainable healthcare future for all.
Your Impact
- Directly manage Practice Managers in your district, ensuring high-performance and engagement.
- Collaborate in a dyad structure with the District Medical Director to align district operations with strategic goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements by reviewing clinic operations and fostering transparent communication between operations and medical leadership.
- Utilize data and dashboards (PowerBI and others) to monitor trends, ensure data integrity, and address unfavorable outcomes.
- Produce weekly operational reports with updates on district performance.
- Oversee new clinic openings within your district, managing the operational aspects to ensure success.
- Advance organizational goals by meeting key performance measures and supporting strategic initiatives.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, ideally with multi-site management.
- 5-10 years of operational experience, with healthcare operations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience with crucial conversations.
- Effective leadership style that is fair, compassionate, and collaborative, fostering mentorship and career growth.
- Proven ability to create an atmosphere of trust, respect, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, Excel, Teams, and related tools.
- Familiarity with HR policies, clinic operations, and performance metrics (e.g., KPI/OKR frameworks).
- Expertise in reviewing policies, managing progressive counseling or disciplinary actions, and driving outcome-based performance improvements.
- Weekend on-call required
- Direct PIL ownership preferred.
- Experience creating and developing teams preferred.
Travel
- Travel within your district as needed to ensure alignment and drive results.
