The Executive Assistant reports to a Vice President of Development and supports two Managers for Disney Branded Television. As an Executive Assistant, the successful candidate will effectively balance changing demands, manage a dynamic schedule, and function well under pressure. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will build collaborative relationships with other executives and assistants throughout the company. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative support to the VP and 2 Managers of development.
- Prepare executive level presentations, memos, reports, spreadsheets, and other correspondence.
- Collect, compile, and prepare status, tracking, and summary reports.
- Coordinate travel; prepare and process Travel & Expense reports.
- Specific clerical tasks include but are not limited to phone coverage/maintain phone log, coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, check requests, order supplies, shipping, and copying.
- Support special projects, promotions, events, and/or programs, as needed or assigned.
- Prepare one sheets, create deck presentations, and write script coverage as needed.
- Collaborate with employees for information, research, administrative materials, etc.
- Take comprehensive notes on both internal and external creative conversations.

Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in entertainment; preferably supporting an executive at a production company, studio, or network.
- Proficient in Outlook (create/edit emails and appointments), Word (create/edit documents), Excel (create/edit documents) and Power Point (create/edit presentations).
- Team player, who is a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate professional demeanor in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passionate about working in Kids and Family programming.
- Prior experience processing travel and expense reports in an on-line HRIS system; like SAP or Concur.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300.00 to $71,300.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
