Role: Project Manager

Job Type- Contract

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Jackson, MS

JD ::

Act as primary liaison between client's personnel and third-party development teams
Ensure smooth communication, coordination, and project execution
Develop, implement, and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables
Act as the central point of contact for internal client's teams and third-party vendors
Track project progress and resolve issues that may impact timelines or deliverables
Coordinate project status meetings, reports, and documentation
Required skills include 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in government or technology-related projects
Experience managing software development projects and vendor relationships
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred skills include PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification
Experience with state government agencies or regulatory environments
Familiarity with business registration, filing systems, or campaign finance processes
Any direct experience or working knowledge of the Mississippi Secretary of State's systems and business operations is highly beneficial.
