Job Responsibilities:

Assist and oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that all equipment, tables, chairs, linens, and decor are arranged according to event specifications.
Support the Service team’s in managing the logistics of events, including ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages, coordinating with staff, and addressing any immediate issues.
Communicate with external vendors (florists, entertainment, photographers, etc.) to ensure timely arrivals and setup, and assist with their needs during events.
Act as a point of contact for guests and clients during events, addressing any concerns or requests and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
Help maintain inventory of event supplies, such as tableware, linens, and decorations, and assist with restocking as needed.
Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Operations, including scheduling and event documentation.
Ensure the venue is maintained in accordance with health and safety standards and that all common areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.
Be proactive in identifying and addressing potential operational/safety issues during events and escalate to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operations or event coordination, preferably in a hospitality setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A professional and positive attitude with a strong customer-service orientation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
